Sub Teacher Source was launched as a division of Industry Specific Solutions (ISS) in 2016 to fill a much needed void in the substitute teacher staffing segment. Since that time, Sub Teacher Source has grown to service hundreds of public and charter partner school districts in multiple states. Our goal is to continue our expansion throughout the United States and ultimately become an international educational staffing organization.

Job Description:
The right talent will be tasked with helping us achieve our expansion throughout Michigan and multiple other States within our growth plan. The School Partnership Development Manager will be responsible for developing, attracting, and maintaining relationships with school officials from grades K-12. We are seeking dynamic candidates that will be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, desire to be a part of a growing National brand and have excellent people skills. The key element of the position is to help schools understand that we provide a needed service with a highly qualified network of substitute teachers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing K-12 school partnerships for substitute staffing regionally
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion into active customers
- Ability to travel regionally for in-person meetings as well as ability to present remotely to potential K-12 clients, school board leaders and other events/conferences that will foster our growth
- Utilize Dynamic Presentation skills coupled with effective communication
- Ability to Negotiate prices and terms
- Function as a liaison for the school district throughout the entire contract process
- Contact new and existing customers to continuously identify current and future needs
- Emphasize our offerings to highlight how they solve customer problems
- React and problem solve efficiently when service issues arise
- Collaborate with recruiting, service and compliance personnel to support the sales effort
- Author presentation/marketing materials to effectively outline our Staffing services
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proof reading distributed materials and communication
- Consistently meet company sales targets
Qualifications:
- Previous B2B Sales experience required; minimum of 2-3 years (K-12 Education or other Staffing Industry Sales preferred)
- Ability to negotiate and close
- Strong prospecting skills
- Possessing the interpersonal skills to build long lasting partnerships
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in basic math calculations
- Skilled in technology and smartphone applications.
- Strong social media network
- Flexible with start times based on business needs
- Ability to maintain confidential materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft programs
