Earl S. Newman founded Industry Specific Staffing (ISS) in 2008 after spending more than 12 years as a general manager and chief operating officer of a successful logistics and industrial staffing organization. Sub Teacher Source was launched as a division of ISS in 2016 to fill a much needed void in the substitute teacher staffing segment. Since that time, Sub Teacher Source has grown to service hundreds of public and charter partner school districts in multiple states. Our goal is to continue our expansion throughout the United States and ultimately become an international educational staffing organization.

    Job Description:

    The right talent will be tasked with helping us achieve our expansion throughout Michigan and multiple other States within our growth plan. The School Partnership Development Manager will be responsible for developing, attracting, and maintaining relationships with school officials from grades K-12. We are seeking dynamic candidates that will be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, desire to be a part of a growing National brand and have excellent people skills. The key element of the position is to help schools understand that we provide a needed service with a highly qualified network of substitute teachers.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for growing K-12 school partnerships for substitute staffing regionally
    2. Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion into active customers
    3. Ability to travel regionally for in-person meetings as well as ability to present remotely to potential K-12 clients, school board leaders and other events/conferences that will foster our growth
    4. Utilize Dynamic Presentation skills coupled with effective communication
    5. Ability to Negotiate prices and terms
    6. Function as a liaison for the school district throughout the entire contract process
    7. Contact new and existing customers to continuously identify current and future needs

    Qualifications:

    1. Previous B2B Sales experience required; minimum of 2-3 years (K-12 Education or other Staffing Industry Sales preferred)

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a talented professional to join our team who possesses the ability to build relationships and is passionate about providing excellent customer service to our network of Substitute Teachers and the Schools we serve. As the Service/Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring our proprietary IT system for open orders, and contacting our network of substitute teachers to fill same day and long term requests. This position also consists of onboarding new employees and providing them with training for multiple employee classes in the schools we serve. The position consists of working mostly during the school year, with an emphasis on sub retention and recruiting during the summer months.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Providing instructions to new employees on how to log into our proprietary IT system so they are able to pick up assignments
    2. Assisting new and existing substitute teachers with any questions regarding school assignments, pay, and documentation
    3. Provide instruction and login information for training materials
    4. Complete 1-hour zoom orientation with newly hired substitutes
    5. Monitor email communications for any emergency assignments throughout the day.
    6. Validate duplicate/incomplete orders that come into our dispatching system
    7. Respond promptly to school administrators communications regarding substitute teacher assignments
    8. Assist new and existing substitute teachers with any questions regarding school assignments, pay, and documentation
    9. Ability to act urgently to last minute sub call offs by filling the assignment with another sub and communicating the change directly to the school administration
    10. Report sub attendance issues to recruiters
    11. Inform recruiters and the management team of any developing concerns expressed by the school district, employees, and applicants
    12. Follow proper protocol for file follow after new hire onboarding process is complete
    13. Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist that can recruit full-cycle nationwide, exceed weekly goals, guide candidates through the recruiting process, and partner with business development to determine school staffing needs. This position consists of work mostly during the school year, with an emphasis on sub retention and recruiting during the summer months. The right talent will assist with on-boarding new candidates, dispatching, employee handling, training, and professional development. This position includes some travel to recruiting events and to assigned territories.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Review all incoming resumes from various internet job boards
    2. Contact, track, and assist applicants through application process
    3. Post open positions on company sponsored social media sites, job boards, and website
    4. Attend job fairs, workshops, associations, etc.
    5. Develop new and execute recruiting efforts
    6. Document collection from candidates and governing states, including; college transcripts, criminal release forms, and fingerprint scans.
    7. Develop expert knowledge in process, procedures, and database applications

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a contract IT Project Manager that can plan, organize and manage the company’s technical projects. The right talent will be working with our management team and 3rd party vendors to coordinate production releases, rollouts, and presenting on projects’ progress and results. You must be able to pass a background check, sign a non-compete agreement and not be involved with any conflicts of interest.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Understanding the short term and long term technological aspirations of management and strategizing each project to meet the goals of the company to further the growth of the company. Suggesting best fit solutions to the company based on knowledge and experience.
    2. Analyzing and recommending development partners and working with those vendors to execute the technological projects on time and within budget.
    3. Sourcing 3rd party vendors on projects based on the expectations and best fit for the company and projects
    4. Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
    5. Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
    6. Using knowledge and experience to vet vendor selection and on-going project status.
    7. Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
